Can you download programs onto a WD External Hard Drive?

I have a 500 GB External Hard drive and I have downloaded music onto it, but when I want to play that music I can only play it one song at a time. I was wondering if there is a way that I can play all the music from it, one after the other, or download a program such as Itunes onto the external hard drive?

Try this,
Open your External Hard Drive where files you downloaded was stored, Right Click to that Folder and Select>>>PLAY with Windows Media Player or any Media Player capable of playing that kind of music you want to play, and it plays all items or tracks on that folder.
Note:Make sure its already unRARed or unZipped.
